Our Team

Colleen has dedicated 25+ years of her career to helping families dealing with mental health issues and addiction, with an additional five years of business experience. She has combined these to establish programs and care protocols for many at-risk populations, including children, veterans, and people who are unhoused. Colleen is extremely passionate about leading and developing high-functioning teams that deliver the highest standard of care, maintaining compliance with all regulatory bodies and exceeding clients’ expectations.

Colleen also works as a crisis intervention team (CIT) clinician for the Westminster, MA, police department, providing direct clinical care/outreach in the community. When she is not working, Colleen enjoys spending quality time with her husband, three daughters, and their rescue pup, Maybel.

Ximena is a board-certified addiction psychiatrist who received formal education at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN, and completed her addictions fellowship through the combined Massachusetts General Hospital, McLean Hospital/Brigham, and Women’s Hospital Addictions Fellowship Program in 2004. Since then, she has worked with adolescents and young adults with substance use disorders and their families at both Children’s Hospital in Boston and McLean Hospital.

Ximena is a vocal advocate of incorporating medication-assisted treatment (MAT) into the comprehensive care of patients struggling with opioid use disorders. She co-authored both a book chapter (Opioid Use by Adolescents, Handbook of Office-Based Buprenorphine Treatment of Opioid Dependence, 2011, 2017) and published a peer-reviewed article (Drug Abuse by Adolescents: General Considerations, Pediatrics in Review, 2009) addressing the needs of young people and families struggling with addiction and its aftermath. Ximena is a former instructor at Harvard Medical School and lectures throughout the country on substance use disorder identification, diagnosis, and treatment.

Tiffany has over six years of experience in the mental health and addiction treatment field. Beginning her career as a recovery specialist on an ATS unit, she advanced into a new role as case manager after a short time. She worked in this role for four years before becoming the case management supervisor at Spring Hill, managing and leading a team of case managers. Tiffany has always been passionate about helping others, and this position allows her to bring that dream to life in a leadership role.

Tiffany is dedicated to helping her team excel in providing compassionate, high-quality care to every client. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, painting, and spending time with her daughter and her French bulldog.

John has been at Spring Hill since 2020, advancing from a recovery specialist to his current role as behavioral tech manager. John uses his own life experiences to best lead his department and is dedicated to Spring Hill and to providing exceptional client care and supportive team management. When not at work, John enjoys spending time with his family and doing CrossFit workouts. He is also a very talented musician.

Tricia has been in the medical field since 2010, dedicating her career to helping people achieve physical and mental health. She began her nursing career in Nashville, TN, after attending Middle Tennessee State University for her bachelor’s degree in nursing and then Tennessee State University for her Master of Science in Nursing (MSN). She also has a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) Post-Graduate Certificate. Tricia worked in internal medicine, long-term care, family medicine, and correctional settings before joining the Spring Hill team in July 2023. Tricia has a daughter and two dogs at home, and enjoys spending time in her yard gardening and relaxing with her family.

Keyla has been in the medical field for 17+ years and a nurse for five years, working in home health care, adolescent care, pediatrics, psychiatric care, and substance abuse treatment settings. Her passion is helping people recover from substance abuse and addiction, supporting and empowering clients in treatment.

At Spring Hill, Keyla is known as a problem-solver and described as a “reassuring nurse” when clients are struggling. During off time, Keyla enjoys spending time with her husband, their three children, and the family’s beloved dogs.

Maybel was saved from euthanasia by our executive director, Colleen Cole, and her family in May 2023 and shortly after also became part of the Spring Hill family. This now-happy-and-healthy pup left behind a life of malnourishment and abandonment to warm the hearts of everyone she meets.

Whether accompanying clients during group, exploring nature while being walked on campus, or soaking up the love when clients and staff play with her, pet her, or just say hello, Maybel brings positivity and love to Spring Hill. She has been told by many that she is the best part of their day, and she feels the same about them!
