In outpatient levels of care, available in varying levels of intensity to meet a wide variety of recovery needs, clients attend treatment sessions and then leave the same day.
Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) At Spring Hill
As the most intensive type of outpatient program, PHPs require clients to attend a full weekly schedule of treatment sessions, which is why this level of care is also known as day treatment.
At Spring Hill, our PHP meets Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 3:15 p.m., offering clients consistent structure and support as they grow in their recoveries. Our group therapy-based curriculum is rooted in evidence-based therapies, with one-on-one sessions, case management, and other care and support provided, including connection with sober housing for those who need it. Our PHP+ option also offers additional support if required.
The day treatment program at Spring Hill typically runs four to six weeks, depending on the client’s progress.
Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) At Spring Hill
IOPs generally require clients to attend nine to 20 hours of treatment per week.
At Spring Hill, we offer two IOP options, both featuring the same evidence-based treatments and support options as our PHP, but with fewer treatment sessions.
IOP5: Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m., typically lasting four to five weeks
IOP3: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday (flexible days) from 8:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m., typically lasting five to six weeks
People may step down from one of Spring Hill’s more intensive programs to one of our IOPs or begin treatment with an IOP.
Standard Outpatient Program (OP) At Spring Hill
The least intensive outpatient option, generally equivalent to therapy or ongoing monitoring, OPs involve meeting regularly for a period of time with a specialist for continued recovery support.
At Spring Hill, our outpatient program meets on Wednesday mornings from 8:30 to 10:15, generally lasting eight to 10 weeks. Again, this may serve as a step-down form of care or as a starting point for recovery for people with mild addictions.
People who start recovery with an OP typically have mild addictions, stable physical and mental health, a supportive home environment, and are ready to change.
Sober Living Options
If you lack a supportive environment to return home to after completing residential treatment at Spring Hill, living in a sober home for a period of time may be the right next step for you, as you step down to an outpatient level of care.
